Why was this movie ever made? I mean really, its target audience must be the only 16 year old high school girl who hasnt seen: (dirty dancing, footloose, Save the last dance, those 2 movies with J-Lo, that movie with usher, or any other lame dancing movie.
Let me save every person on this forum 6 bucks a piece and give u the set templete every dancing movie has:
1. outsider type guy has a rough life, gets in trouble.
2. must know go and do some sort of community service.
3. meets up with hot chick who teaches dance.
4. he is reluctant, but gives in to her on the dance floor.
5. she is reluctant, but gives in to him in the bedroom.
6. guy doesn't wanna show up/someoutside obsticle.
7. girl worries
8. guy shows up at last minute-show goes on.
9. they kiss-the end
* note there can be a fight in this between the outsider and the female dancer's ex. there will also be a sceen or two where the couple must face each others diversity and learn to accept it.
